RunNB is pleased to announce its 2026 Circle NB 2000 km Challenge! It is the same journey as last year but with a few additions.
Whether you're a competitive athlete or simply enjoy recreational running or walking, this challenge is designed for you.
Starting in January, participants will take on a 12-month journey to virtually run or walk around New Brunswick, aiming to cover 5-7 km per day. It’s a great way to push your limits and stay active and healthy.
The Rewards:
Your achievements will be rewarded as follows:
- 1000 km - bronze medal. - 1500 km - silver medal. - 2000 km+ - gold medal. - Top 3 winners, male and female, with the most km completed, will be rewarded at the Annual RunNB Awards.
But that’s not all! We are considering offering draw prizes to keep everyone motivated along the way.
The Journey:
Your virtual tour of New Brunswick begins in Clair, heads east to Campbellton, Bathurst, goes south to Miramichi, Moncton, Saint John, St Stephen and continues north to Fredericton, Woodstock and ending in Grand Falls. Every kilometer brings you closer to achieving your goal!
How It Works:
Register online and track your progress on a personalized dashboard. No special equipment is required—just your determination and your own two feet. Honesty is key as you record your distances, and while a Strava account isn’t mandatory, we may request data verification if someone is racing far ahead of the pack.
This is your chance to join a community of passionate runners and walkers, push your boundaries, and proudly display the hard-earned medal that signifies your incredible accomplishment. Ready to accept the challenge? Let’s make 2026 your year of achievement!
Registration fee is set at $40.
Be part of this challenge and register soon!
