Youth Series

This event offers a Youth Series. Find out more about RunNB's Youth Series.

Young runners 12-and-under are invited to participate in the Kids 1K. The 1K will be offered in-person and virtually. Each finisher will receive a medal, courtesy of RunNB and a technical t-shirt. The cost of participation is $5 ($10 for race day registration) Runners should be able to participate without the assistance of a parent/adult. UNB REDS athletes will be there to assist.

Course description: We have a new route for 2022. It consists of two loops for 10K participants and one loop for 5K participants. Runners will then turn left on St. John, left on McLeod, and turn left onto the Crosstown Trail prior to reaching Beaverbrook. Athletes will turn left on the Lincoln Trail heading towards the walking bridge. After crossing the walking bridge, runners will turn left on the North Riverfront Trail, passing Picaroons. Runners will then navigate the trails in Carleton park which will serve as a turnaround. Runners will then return across the walking bridge towards the Southside and follow the Lincoln Trail, crossing George and Charlotte. Runners will then turn right off the trail onto Aberdeen completing their race where they started.
