• Course description: Enjoy a scenic route of rolling hills through Grand Falls. Starting at the Potato Festival grounds Bistro, enjoying the fast and flat section of the Trans Canada Trail overlooking the Saint John river on the old train track bridge as the 5km turnaround/water station at the foot of the train track bridge to back track to the start/finish. The 10km route will continue onto past the 5km turnaround with signage, and up towards the McCain plant on the Trans Canada Trail, then turn around with a water station on the same route to the start/finish line. Celebrate your fun run completion at the Bistro and in time for the festival parade. Timed event not by chip. Awards for top three male and female in each 5km and 10km distance, and the last place finisher. There will also be random draw prizes. Warm up exercises by Capture Therapeutics 9:45am.
