The Fredericton Marathon committee is working with the City of Fredericton Government and Fredericton Tourism – Town Square Social Hub and other partners to draw up a safe event for the running community in May 2021.
The three-day event is being planned for the weekend of May 7, 8 and 9. Our plan is to hold the Stewart McKelvey Fredericton Marathon 2021 event on the Mother’s Day weekend (May 7-9), but if COVID-19 forces us to postpone, we have chosen Labour Day weekend (September 3-5) as our BACKUP DATE. COVID-19 operational and risk mitigation plans are being prepared and will be submitted to the City and Public Health soon. Our aim is to have more details and registration available as soon as possible.
