Thank you for your interest in Run with the REDS! We are excited to offer this event to invite the community to our Fredericton campus.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the UNB Reds Cross Country and Track and Field Program.

Tentative Schedule:
Kids 1K - 8:45 AM
5K - 9:00 AM
1 Mile (1600m) - 10:00 AM
Team Relay (4x800m) - 10:30 AM

Série jeunesse

Young runners 12-and-under are invited to participate in the Trites Orthodontics Kids 1K. The 1K will be offered in-person and virtually. Each finisher will receive a medal, courtesy of RunNB and a technical t-shirt. The cost of participation is by donation (minimum $3) and the event is capped at 20 in-person participants. There is no cap on the virtual event. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in-person runners should be able to participate without the assistance of a parent/adult.

  • Description du parcours : The course is flat and fast along the Fredericton trail system. All races will start in the same location - behind College Field on the trail. The Trites Orthodontics 1K Kids Race will be 500m out-and-back along the Lincoln Trail. The Alex and Lily's Shoes & Swimwear 5K will be an out-and-back along the Nashwaak Trail crossing the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. The Sequoia Fredericton 10K will follow the same route as the 5K before turning right along the Fredericton Riverfront trail with the turnaround near the Lt. Governor's residence. Water stations will be provided at approximately 2.5K for 5K participants and approximately 2.5K and 7K for 10K participants.
