Medavie Canadian 5K Championships

As part of the Medavie Canadian 5K Championships, event organizers based in Moncton, New Brunswick are organizing a Team Relay Challenge. Although the event is virtual, you and your running buddies, family members, or colleagues are invited to participate from across the country. Participants can register in teams of four, who will run 5K each. Teams can enter in three categories (men, women, and mixed – two men and two women).

In addition to the virtual elite component, event organizers are looking to engage the broader running community with the Team Relay Challenge. In addition to a portion of race fees going to support Canadian elite athletes, all participants will receive a finishers medal featuring the race logo. A variety of prizes will also be up for grabs including Athletics Canada gear, local delicacies from Atlantic Canada, giveaways from our sponsors, and much more. Prizes will be given as draw prizes and for the top-3 teams in each category.

Participants will have from August 28 – September 10 to complete their run and submit their results via race roster.
