David Morris Memorial 5km

Now that Level 2 restrictions are back, I think it’s time we go head to head for the David Morris 5km road race. Therefore we are resuming the Head to Head racing for the MRR beginning this Sunday, Feb 13. Race time is 9 am and you can register up until Saturday evening at midnight online at www.runnb.ca. Registration is $8 and youth 19 and under run free by sending me an email stating your age and date of birth to scorbord@mac.com

According to level 2 restrictions for participants 12 and over:
Low-contact sports are permitted to host competitions with up to 50 athletes. (Road racing is listed as a low contact sport.)
Masks are required when not actively engaged in high aerobic activities, including participants who are not engaged in active play. (ie, masks required before and after the race, including standing at the start line and after crossing the finish line).
Proof of vaccination requirements still applies.
After the race, we will be awarding the 2021Awards
We will be continuing the Virtual racing as well and runners can get their run in on Saturday or Sunday and have until 8pm to get your results into me atscorbord@mac.com
